i’ve been moving every few years since i was a kid and i have a pretty hard time sitting still. probably because of the transience, i’ve always been a bit of an observer. from a really young age i felt myself quietly moved by, and aware of, the little moments that happen when no one is looking. they felt like my little secrets.

when i got my first camera i realized that photography gave me a way to hold onto those moments, like catching fireflies in a jar.
